北京市水务局：在大风天气时请市民远离河道
4月11日，据水务局消息，请市民避免大风天气时在河道水域周边逗留，不要开展涉水活动。强风可能卷起杂物、掀起大浪，导致堤岸湿滑或塌陷，存在溺水风险。同时要警惕瞬时大风引发山区河道周边落石、断枝伤人情况发生。请市民远离河道，保障自身安全。
北京加油站暂停加油
4月11日下午，市安委会办公室发布关于做好大风极端天气安全生产工作的提示，按照《北京市大风天气应急预案》（京应急委发〔2023〕2号）有关要求：大风橙色预警发布后，在大风黄色预警响应措施的基础上，本市加油站、油库暂停加油、接卸、收发油等作业。
市应急办表示，考虑到加油站承担城市运行保障功能，对此次大风橙色预警中，抢险救援、医疗救护（120、999）、保障城市运行（公交、冷链、肉蛋禽奶等居民生活物资运输等车辆）、因无油受困的社会车辆，在保障安全的前提下（风量小的时段）可以加油作业。
窗户有必要贴“米字形”胶带吗？
10级大风下，人难以保持端正站姿，13级阵风可以吹断直径30厘米的树木。有网友认为，可以在家中窗户上贴“米字形”胶带，防范强劲风力。
北京市气象台首席预报员何娜在直播中介绍，沿海城市在台风来临时，会建议大家贴“米字形”胶带，以加固门窗玻璃。不过，北京此次的大风天气和台风不一样。台风是以底层中心附近最大平均风力定级的，12～13级的风被称为台风，但北京此次平均风力考虑在6级左右，阵风最高可达11～13级，阵风是瞬时的，跟台风不一样。“这次阵风可能致灾性也比较强，但没有像台风一样的威力。”
中国气象局上海台风研究所副所长汤杰表示，和真正的台风不同，北京此次是中纬度系统导致的大风。“二者不是同一种天气，威胁的方面不一样。”他说，对于北京此次的大风过程，高层建筑如果不是有特别大的落地窗，不是特别有必要贴“米字形”胶带。“大风会对高层建筑的附属物有一定威胁，尽量固定好窗户和阳台的物品，例如花盆、晾晒杆等。”汤杰提醒。
相比起经常遇到台风的东南沿海城市，整体而言，北方内陆城市居民抗风经验少一些。汤杰提醒，北京市区不必像面对“台风过境”一样过于紧张忧虑，但也需要做好防范；山区、高楼风力更强，需要格外注意。
